Does Publix Sell Amazon Gift Cards in 2026?

Quick answer: Based on the current official Publix gift-card pages I reviewed, I could not verify a current Amazon gift card listing on Publix's official gift-card surfaces. Publix's published gift-card program is centered on Publix gift cards, and Publix's own FAQ says Publix gift cards cannot be used to buy other gift cards.

The old version of this topic made the answer sound more certain than the current official Publix evidence supports. The cleaner 2026 answer is to separate what Publix clearly documents from what I could not verify.

Does Publix sell Amazon gift cards?

I could not verify a current official Amazon gift card listing on Publix's current gift-card pages from the source packet reviewed here.

Publix's official online gift-card program clearly documents Publix gift cards and Publix gift-card policies, but the current official pages I reviewed did not give me a verified Amazon gift card listing to point to.

What does Publix clearly document instead?

Publix says its gift cards are available through Publix locations, publix.com/gift, or phone ordering, and its FAQs explain how Publix gift cards work for merchandise purchases in the Publix ecosystem.

Publix also explicitly says its own gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. That is the strongest practical rule in the current official source packet.

What is the practical takeaway?

If you specifically need an Amazon gift card, do not assume Publix's current official gift-card pages confirm that availability. The safest evidence-based answer is that the reviewed official Publix pages did not verify an Amazon gift card listing.

And if your backup idea was to use a Publix gift card to buy one, Publix's own FAQ says its gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.

Bottom line

Publix's current official gift-card materials clearly support Publix gift cards, but I could not verify a current official Amazon gift card listing from the pages reviewed here. Publix gift cards also cannot be used to buy other gift cards.
