WHERE NOT TO USE - Not for use in table-top fireplaces, effusion lamps or catalytic lamps that require gel fuel or alcohol-based fuels. Firefly CLEAN Lamp Oil is NOT recommended for tiki torches or vessels using a wick larger than 3.6mm which is a little over 1/8” as it will smoke. (See Discussion Below)

RECOMMENDATION: Our Firefly Tealight Candle holds about 1/2 Ounce of Fuel. Burn Time is VERY DEPENDENT on the Type of Fuel You Purchase and the Height of the Wick (Set Ever So Slightly Above the Wick Holder, Just a Nub). Therefore, in our experience, you can expect anywhere from 3 to 4 hours of burn time using Firefly Fuels as directed (SEE VIDEO). FUEL IS NOT INCLUDED.. We Suggest Using Firefly CLEAN Lamp Oil, Safe and Green, or Firefly Paraffin Lamp Oil. Which One to Choose? Well, our in-house testing showed Firefly CLEAN Lamp Oil burned significantly longer than our paraffin lamp oil and it costs less. Your Choice. Please note, we DO NOT recommend using a flammable fuel such as kerosene or any kind of vegetable oil like olive oil. Great alternative to a kerosene lantern.

MORE TIPS: If you are burning the wick and not the fuel, this is an indicator that the wick has not thoroughly soaked up the fuel. Let it sit for a significant time and then light.

INCLUDED - REFILLABLE TEALIGHT OIL CANDLE: The Included Firefly 1/2-Ounce Refillable Tea Light is hand blown and made from borosilicate glass; an elegant yet non-fragile glass. It stands about 1-3/4 inches tall to the tip of the wick and is about 1-1/2 inches in diameter. It uses a 2.6mm cotton wick. Firefly replacement wicks are available on Amazon. Fuel is NOT INCLUDED. We suggest using Firefly Safe and Green which is an eco-friendly, non-toxic, odorless, smokeless, and biodegradable fuel

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Be Sure to Care Properly for your hurricane lantern: Hand Clean with a Soft Cloth. NEVER Submerge in Water as the water may leak between the glass layers and cause streaking.

USE INSTRUCTIONS: Never Leave Burning Unattended. The Glass and the Stainless Steel do become hot. To Move, Simply Blow Out the Candle and Wait Until the Glass and Stainless are Cool to the Touch.

FIREFLY LAMP OIL: We have included 16 ounces of Firefly lamp oil to get you up and running immediately after unpacking your candles. 16 ounces will not fill all 3 pillar candles. Keep in mind that Firefly paraffin lamp oil burns about 6 hours per ounce. Therefore, a 16-ounce bottle with provide about 96 hours of burn time. Times May Vary.
